The Art of Happiness

We are all searching for happiness, but despite our clamouring many of us are unable to find it.

Why?

Often we are simply looking in the wrong place. True happiness is an exercise of the mind and the heart. It comes from developing a sense of worth, realizing we deserve happiness, and finding inner contentment. Here are a few things we can so to get a step closer to Happiness.

  • Accept yourself for who you are, imperfections and all, to avoid guilt over mistakes and self-induced suffering.
  • Avoid being the cause of your own suffering. Don’t give more power than is necessary to negative people or their comments and actions.
  • When experiencing fear, remember why you want to do or achieve something and examine your motives.
  • True happiness comes from being content with all that we already have.
